Remembering my grandfather, who was an Army RSM at the start of the war and then got his commission and progressed to the rank of Major. He was part of the elite T-Force unit which arrived in France 3 weeks after D-Day. He made it home but sadly died before I was born but I'm still so proud of him and my other grandfather who was an Army driver in North Africa. It was a special generation.
