Born 1913 in Wigan, Harry was a Sergeant in the 11th Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers. On D-Day, he was en route to France, when he was sadly killed in an accident in Colchester. The Bren Gun carrier he was travelling in blew up. He left a wife, son, parents & 6 siblings. A housing estate in Colchester named a road after him called Hendry Worthington Way due to a typo on his death record. Nevertheless, this is still a lovely tribute to him! Harry you are remembered with love & pride ALWAYS! XxxxX
