On the 6th June, I will be remembering our Dear Dad, Eric Drube who passed away last year. He served on HMS Cockatrice as a Stoker 1st Class, as part of the 18th Minesweeping Flotilla. They cleared mines from Channel 6 for Gold Beach on the 5th June 1944 ahead of the landings on the 6th June and stayed as close support for 2 months. God Bless You Dad.
