My dear brave Dad who was there D-Day 3 clearing up the wrecks at Omaha. He had to dive down attaching limpet mines to blow up the wrecks, on one dive he went into the sunken ship and saw a human arm on a table which really scared him. We got him back to Normandy with the North Wales Veterans many years later, they were such proud men. They were all so very brave, but just said it was there job, Dad got home on the Friday and was back to his old job on the Monday painting and decorating!
