My Father Piper Bill Millin personal piper to Lord Lovat. 1st Special Service Commando Brigade. He played the bagpipes on Sword Beach as the commandos disembarked under heavy enemy fire. He continued to play the pipes as the commandos made their way to Pegasus bridge to relieve Major John Howard and his airborne forces.
