My Dad served In the Navy on the Russian Convoys He started of at the age of 15 being ARP Then joined the Navy . He was sent to Devonport for training Then he went on the submarines as it was more money. Then on to HMS Campania Met my Mum Christmas 1943 and married in 1945 With only 3 days to sort a wedding out before he was sent back to Sea to the far east At the age of 99 he is still selling poppy's for the British Legion
