This is my Grandad Henry Adams Roberts who served with the 28th Maori Battalion during WW2. He was a driver for the troops on the frontline at Monte Cassino,he was shot in the right shoulder late jan 1943 and spent two weeks in hospital before returning to the frontline for the duration of ww2. He survived the war effort and returned home to New Zealand in March 1946 where he lived his life the best he could do until his passing in 1996. Lest We Forget
