This is my dad, a humble man from Nenagh, County Tipperary. At the age of 17, he served in the Royal Navy during the war as a radio operator. He was aboard HMS Dominica supporting the D-Day landings. He lived to the age of 97, passing away only a few years ago. His medals and service record are now in the safe and loving care of his grandson. God bless you Dad.
