Harry William Prax served for 22 yrs in the Royal Navy from 1940 -1962. He took part in sea battles in the Atlantic and North Sea during WW2 aswell as going to North Africa. The picture included is of his wedding day to Mary Elizabeth Jones in june 1943 when he was given 2 weeks leave before returning to sea. He survived the war and retired from the Navy in 1962 where he lived the rest of his life with his wife Mary in Blackpool Lancashire until his passing in 1988 aged 68. Lest We Forget
