Charles lockhart

Sapper Charles lockhart, known as Charlie, was from Darlington. He was killed on 6th June, the first day of the Normandy landings. He was 25 years old. He left parents, two sisters and three brothers, one of whom was Kenneth who was my dad. We have never forgotten him.
