Remembered for ever a gentleman and loving Father. Served your country in WW2 took part in DDay at the age of 19 years. Was on the first wave in taking on the Landing Craft the brave men of 4 Commando. Taking a direct mortar hit causing fatal injuries of the Commandos and damage to the craft. But carried on into the beach with the rest of Commandos disembarking. He cared for injured and covered the dead with his own Salwester. We Salute you and Love you Ian Paul and our families xx
