Uncle Les,was before Dday,a Desert Rat in N Africa with Montgomery.Some were brought home to train for Dday.He was transferred to Glasgow Highland Regt,landed on Sword at Ouisterham Dday.he fought in the battle for Caen,severely wounded and sadly died from his wounds a few weeks later,He is resting in Bayeaux War Cemetery,RIP🌺 Lest We Forget 🌺Respect and Thankyou
