Remembering my father, Trooper Frank Cooper, who was 19 on the 6th June 1944. Part of the 4th Armoured Brigade, 3rd City of London Yeomanry. 2nd tank of his landing craft on Juno beach on 6th June 1944 , the first tank sunk as the landing craft was too far off shore. Wounded on 8th August 1944 when his tank was hit , brought back to England and spent a year in hospital before being discharged on 15th August 1945
