Born in July 1923 Served from 1942 - 1947 Trained as a gunner mechanic 144 RAC. You will be forever my hero love and miss you always xx Landed Gold beach Used Sherman's..Churchill's...Buffalo's..Crusader and Comet. Took part in the battle for Caan, Falaise Pocket, battle of the Bulge. First Regiment to cross the Rhine when re named 4RTR and remained in Buffalo's for the Battle of Bremen. Then served in Comets in Italy.
