Arthur was in the Royal Navy and was at Omaha clearing up all the wrecks, as a diver he had to attach limpet mines. He was there on D-Day 3. He went back later on in life, and never saw himself as a Hero, it was just a job.Arthur also was on the artic convoys to Russia on HMS Furious, he loved that ship. So very proud of you Dad and wish you were here for the 80th Anniversary , God Bless you and all of you're shipmates, you will never be forgotten xxxx
