Dedicated to my Grandad who Served with 113th Royal Armoured Corps (2/5 West Yorkshire Regt) and later with an RAC Tank training unit and BAOR. Was readied for the NWE campaign on 3 June but unknown if he landed on D-Day or the days following. Definitely Gold Beach though. Subsequently pushed through France into Germany. Saw first hand the horrors of Belsen and assisted the clean up operation. Sadly he passed away when I was young, so many questions I’d like to have asked. Thanks Grandad x
