This is a special place for you to share memories and photos of your loved ones who were involved in D-Day - and the wider war effort.

“…the spirit of the people, resolute, dedicated, burned like a bright flame, lit surely from those unseen fires which nothing can quench.”  King George VI, 6 June 1944 (D-Day)

Thank you to you and all the brave men who served and sacrificed their lives so I, my children & your great grandchildren can live in a free society. You served on many shops during the War and in August 1944 on board the Octavia you swept the channel for mines for which you were awarded the legion d’honneur.
